"A lovely place to stay, and a very warm welcome. Amazing location, and just a short walk through the woods to the beach. It was early in the season, but we visited it 3 times and never saw another soul there. It was lovely to be able to use the hot tub on the cold nights staying in The Apple Store and then head back in to the warmth of the log burner. Perfect end to end winter and start Spring. Breakfast was absolutely perfect. Glamorgan sausage were hands down the best I've ever had, and I've tried a lot!! Homemade bread and marmalade were also spot on. Was lovely chatting to the effervescent Jo, and it was like saying goodbye to a new friend when we left, after just two night. Will definitely return."

"Country hideaway - We spent 2 nights in October here. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. The team so friendly and helpful. lovely touches like fresh milk for the tea in the room. The location is quiet and picturesque. I would highly recommend this for a country retreat."

"You will not be disappointed 5 star all the way - A superb 2 day break in early September in "The Apple Store",a cosy cottage type accommodation ,with all amenities including a hot tub,set in the grounds away from the main house. A charming breakfast room and the highlight of the stay without doubt was wonderfully cooked breakfast, locally sourced produce, homemade and gluten free options, fresh fruit ,an absolute delight. Jan the owner was a marvellous host(and cook)informative and ably assisted by Jo. The location is very tranquil and quiet, it a 5 minute walk to the sea and costal paths, ideal to explore the magnificent Pembrokeshire countryside. Highly recommended"

"Totally relaxing - We stayed for two nights in The Apple Store and have never felt so relaxed before. We were warmly welcomed as were our dogs, if our dogs are happy we can properly relax. The accommodation was clean and cosy, well-equipped and the hot tub is huge and such a luxury. We had a hamper on one evening which was delicious. Breakfast was very tasty too. We absolutely enjoyed everything about our stay but the things that stand out are the magical location, like some lost valley from a fairy tale and the friendly welcome together with all the finishing touches. We are returning very soon."

"Family stay for 2 nights - just before Bank Holiday weekend 2018 - Wonderful stay at Monk Haven Manor. We were met by the friendly Jo who settled us in to our accommodation and gave us tips on the things we had planned to do. Well-appointed en suite rooms in the grounds and a delicious breakfast each morning which your order by 8pm the night before. Much of the breakfast is home-grown/home made so it really is top-notch! Lovely grounds and tranquillity. We ate out on Night 1 in Dale and Night 2 in Little Haven. MAKE SURE YOU BOOK IN ADVANCE when eating out! Thanks again Jo - keep up the great work and hope the Wedding Venue idea goes well."

"Perfect place to stay - Stayed for 2 nights in Brynach a lovely large room with a little patio and stunning views over the gardens and wooded valley. Everything about this place is just perfect, the setting, the breakfast, the peaceful ambience, the convenience for great places to visit, the walkable local pub, cove and coastal path.....and most of all the lovely Jo, the front of house star! Don't often go back to where we've been before but will certainly come back here"
